Addressing the hidden impacts of climate change on persons with disabilities
Climate disasters leave more than damaged homes and destroyed livelihoods. They can also result in loss of dignity, mental wellbeing, community belonging, and independence, impacts that often go unseen yet profoundly affect the lives of persons with disabilities.
Through IRCJA, ANDY is advancing disability-inclusive climate resilience by ensuring these invisible losses are recognised, addressed, and integrated into climate action.
