Climate Justice
Global Greengrants Fund Project
Growing environmental stewardship through inclusive communities.
Climate action is most effective when everyone can participate
The Global Greengrants Fund Project empowered persons with disabilities, schools, and local communities to become active champions of environmental conservation while strengthening awareness of climate justice and disability rights.
Implemented in Nyando Sub-County over twelve months, this initiative promoted disability-inclusive climate justice through environmental education, school engagement, accessible information, and community advocacy. It demonstrated that environmental conservation and disability inclusion can reinforce one another to create stronger, more resilient communities.
