This is a project that advocates for the rights of Persons with Disabilities by ensuring that Right Holders demand respect for Human Rights from the State Actors through creating awareness of policies, creating a body of Knowledge from Persons with Disabilities and rolling out a national campaign that will create awareness on the importance of promoting, enhancing and protecting the rights of Persons with Disabilities.

The project is being implemented in Nairobi County three informal settlements namely Mukuru, Kawangware and Mathare. Ten Disability Champions spear head advocacy activities with the focus on accessibility to health, education and employment for persons with disabilities. The Disability Champions use technology through new media to amplify the insurmountable challenges faced by Persons with Disabilities in enjoying human rights.

Through organizing Bi-monthly disability talks in the communities Voices for Change has created a bridge that brings right holders and duty bearers in a platform in which pertinent issues in regard to human rights are discussed and in turn realize change in the community,families and mentor CwD to build their functional and academic skills through home visits.
