Joseph Mbugua – PCLD Group
As a group we sat down and carefully examined our IGA skills. Most of us had poultry keeping skills thus that is what we decided on with the VIS grant. The VIS program has been an eye opener to us: Parents with Children Living with Disability (PCLD) Group, we shall be able to cater for better feeding, medical, transport and education needs of our children in the near future.
Having lost eight; we have ninety two improved breed of local chicken and ready for sale in the coming two weeks. The VIS program has given us the momentum to reach more children and women with disabilities on referrals to access health care services and soon we are going to have A Disability Awareness Sunday with a local church. Thanks a lot Light and Hope and ANDY; your field visits have put us on track.
